As a San Antonio Wedding Photographer, I have heard a lot of love stores, rarely do I hear about one starting out this early. Some love stories don’t start with a swipe or a setup—they start in the middle school hallways.
Miranda and Casey have known each other since 6th grade, but their story didn’t truly begin until years later. They started dating during Miranda’s sophomore year of college when Casey ended up working in the same town she was going to school in. What started as a familiar friendship grew into something steady and lasting—and five years later, it led them here.
On November 7th, 2025, they said “I do” at The Chandelier of Gruene in New Braunfels, surrounded by the people who have watched their story unfold from the very beginning.
Their wedding day carried the most beautiful balance of rustic and elegant flare. The girls wore soft sage green dresses that added a timeless, romantic tone to the day, while the groomsmen leaned into that classic Texas feel—jeans, black coats, ties, and their cowboy hats. It felt effortless and true to who they are.

The ceremony took place inside the white chapel, and it was just as stunning as you can imagine. Clean, bright, and filled with soft natural light—it created the perfect space for such a meaningful moment. They kept the florals classic with white flowers and subtle green details, which paired so well with the warm wood tones throughout the venue. Everything felt cohesive without trying too hard—just simple, intentional, and beautiful.
There’s something really special about photographing a relationship that has history like this. You can feel it in the way they interact—comfortable, grounded, and completely themselves with each other. It’s not rushed or performative, it’s just real.

The Chandelier of Gruene was the perfect backdrop for their day. In historical Gruene, just outside of New Braunfels, it holds that classic Texas Hill Country charm while still feeling elevated and romantic. It gave us space for both intentional portraits and those in-between moments that matter just as much.
Miranda and Casey’s day felt like a full-circle moment. From knowing each other as kids to building a life together, their wedding wasn’t just about the start of something new—it was a celebration of everything that brought them here.
And getting to document that kind of story… it never gets old.
