The Milestone New Braunfels Wedding | Abigail & David

Abigail and David’s The Milestone New Braunfels- Legacy Hall wedding in New Braunfels, Texas was such a joyful, family-centered day filled with bright color and meaningful moments. As their photographer, my goal was to capture everything as it naturally unfolded while also helping keep the day on track so they could truly enjoy it.

The morning felt calm and easy, with that perfect kind of cool Texas weather that makes everything feel just right.

One of the most meaningful parts of the day was Abigail getting ready in her mother’s wedding dress. It was a surprise for her family, and it added so much weight and emotion to the morning. When she stepped out for her first look with her dad, you could immediately feel how special it was. There were a lot of emotions in that moment—one of those times where everyone just pauses and takes it in.

The ceremony took place at The Milestone New Braunfels, a venue the couple chose simply because they loved the look and feel of it—and it fit them perfectly.

Abigail and David’s story really came full circle here. Growing up, David was best friends with Abigail’s brother, and she always said she would marry him one day. Standing there during the ceremony, it felt like everything had come together exactly the way it was meant to.

Their faith was a big part of their relationship, and you could feel that throughout the ceremony. It wasn’t over the top—it was just genuine and grounded, which matched who they are as a couple.

With a large, close-knit family, portraits were an important part of the day. We worked through as many combinations as possible while keeping things moving so they could stay present and not feel rushed.

Abigail’s bubbly personality and David’s more quiet, steady presence balanced each other so well during this time. It made everything feel relaxed, even when we were working through a full list of family photos.

The celebration continued at Legacy Hall, where the bright pink theme really came to life. Bridesmaids wore bold pink dresses, paired with the groomsmen in dark blue suits, creating a fun and vibrant contrast.

The design leaned into bright spring colors—pinks, oranges, and greens—which gave the entire space an energetic but still laid-back feel. From the florals to the dessert table, everything tied together in a way that felt playful and personal to them.

One of the things that stood out most about this The Milestone New Braunfels wedding was how centered it was around family and shared history.

From wearing her mother’s dress to the strong relationships woven throughout the day, everything felt intentional without being overly complicated. Even their shared love for coffee—something that’s a big part of their life together—added another layer to who they are as a couple.

By the time the night wrapped up, it still felt just as relaxed and genuine as the morning started. Nothing felt forced—it was just a day that reflected who Abigail and David are.

Being part of a The Milestone New Braunfels wedding like this is always a reminder that the best days aren’t about perfection—they’re about meaning, connection, and the people who show up for you.
