The Process
The Consultation
Once I receive your inquiry, I’ll check my calendar to see if your date is available. If so, I’ll send over a Calendly link so we can schedule a consultation call. This is our chance to connect, talk through your vision for the session, and begin planning an engagement experience that reflects your relationship and the story you’re stepping into together.
Planning
Once we’ve connected, we begin planning the details of your session. Will we wander through downtown for a romantic San Antonio engagement session? Spend the evening at The Pearl capturing the energy of the city? Or maybe head to Fredericksburg to photograph your love among the vineyards at a winery. Perhaps your story feels more like a stroll through downtown Austin, with photos near the Texas State Capitol. Wherever we choose to go, the location and atmosphere are thoughtfully chosen to reflect who you are as a couple and the story you’re telling together.
The Day of your Session
When the day of your engagement session arrives, we’ll meet at the location we’ve chosen together. This is a relaxed time to settle in, get comfortable in front of the camera, and simply enjoy being together. I’ll gently guide you when needed, while also allowing space for natural moments to unfold. From the wider scenes that capture where we are to the quiet in-between moments, the focus is on documenting your connection and telling your story in a way that feels genuine to this season of your lives.
Gallery Delivery
Once your session is complete, I carefully go through each image, selecting and editing the photographs that best tell the story of your engagement. A few weeks later, you’ll receive a beautifully curated online gallery where you can relive the moments from your session, download your images, and share them with the people you love.
The Investment
Engagement sessions begin at $600. Each session includes time spent planning the perfect location, your engagement session experience, and a curated online gallery of beautifully edited images to remember this season of your story. Sessions can take place in a variety of beautiful locations including downtown San Antonio (The Pearl, River Walk, historic missions), Fredericksburg (local wineries and vineyards), or Austin (downtown Austin, the Texas State Capitol, scenic overlooks).

Questions
How far out do we need to book?
Engagement sessions are best booked 4–8 weeks in advance to allow time for planning your location, outfits, and ensuring we photograph during the best light. If you’re hoping to use your photos for save-the-dates or wedding websites, scheduling your session 3–6 months before your wedding is ideal.
Do you Travel?
Yes! While I am an engagement photographer based in San Antonio, TX, I regularly travel to Austin, Fredericksburg, Boerne, New Braunfels, and the throughout the Texas Hill Country for engagement sessions. If you have a meaningful location in mind—whether it’s a downtown city setting, a scenic overlook, or a romantic winery in Fredericksburg—I’m always happy to travel to document your story in the place that feels most like you.
Do you offer payment plans?
To reserve your engagement session, a retainer payment is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance can be split into two payments, making it easy to plan ahead. The final payment is due before your session date.

Choosing what to wear for your engagement session can feel like a big decision, but you don’t have to figure it out alone. You’re always welcome to reach out for outfit guidance, and I’m happy to help you choose pieces that photograph beautifully and complement the location we’ve selected. Whether you’re deciding between a couple of options or planning multiple outfits for the session, I’m here to help make sure everything comes together in a way that feels natural and true to you.
Can we see a full Engagement gallery?
Absolutely. I’m happy to share a full engagement gallery with you so you can see how a complete session comes together. Viewing a full gallery helps you see the variety of images captured, from candid moments to portraits, and how your story can be told throughout the session.
How many hours of coverage do we need?
Engagement sessions include up to two hours, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. This allows space for location changes, outfit changes, and time to capture both candid moments and beautiful portraits as the session naturally unfolds.
